My first sweet grass and stone artwork of 2023. With this piece, I am exploring the simple intersection of plane and solid. I’ll admit I am very happy with how the sweet grass “curve” turned out as it serves as a compelling contrast to the relative linearity of the stone…but as is the case with much of this work, which way is up?
