This is the start! My first attempt to attach sweetgrass to a found stone. Everyone asks what spurred this idea. I don’t exactly recall but it certainly was influenced by the almost-daily walks I take with my dog on the beach. Our beach, on the coast of Maine, has a section that is covered in rocks of all sizes. Perhaps it was a piece of seaweed, held fast, to a stone that was the seed of this creative endeavor. However it began, I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy this amazing exploration.
