This is my last piece of 2023, completed on a trip to Saddleback Mountain in Rangeley, Maine. I brought the work with me on the off chance I’d have some time to weave and New Year’s Eve Day turned out to be that opportunity. Surprisingly, without the chaos of my studio, the work was very easy and seemed to flow. No distractions, no questions about what I should be spending my time on, just focused energy. And I am very happy with the result.
